This update is severely delayed, and unfortunate, but Z-Rigs will no longer be regularly produced. The “DSLR Handle” market is Super-Super-Saturated, and manufacturing costs & demands are no longer allowing the Z-Rig to be sold. We would like to thanks each and every person who bought and used a Z-Rig. We will still be making Z-Rigs on the occasional “Special Order” basis, but no more stock will be added to the online store. If you are interested in ordering one please email Chris at email@example.com
Once again, thanks to everyone who ordered a Z-Rig and we hope that they continue to serve you well for years to come!
After what seems like a lifetime of waiting, the newest batch of Z-Rigs are now available, and shipping in 2-3 days! Be aware, this is a very limited batch so they WILL sell out fast. Order one NOW!
Check out this edit filmed with a Z-Rig as well!

Here we have a video of the new, currently shipping Z-Rigs being un-boxed and set up. The newest Z-Rig features an addiotnal mounting bolt hole for further balancing and customization of your cameras position. Also, its slightly larger than the original at 8″ x 8″ inside the frame. Also the aluminum block has been slimmed down to keep a clean look.
Orders placed within the first couple of days of the Pre-Order have been shipped. All other orders will be shipped by the end of the week, and we still have a few Z-Rigs left in stock. Since they are available, order placed after today will ship in 2-3 business days.
Since the pre-order of Z-Rigs began Thursday afternoon half of the stock has been sold! Order yours now to make sure you get one!
While some delays have pushed this back, Z-Rigs are now available for order. Please note, they will not be shipping for 2-3 weeks, but this is another limited run, so order now before the sell out again.
The new batch of Z-Rigs are being professionally made in Boston, MA and promise to be at our highest quality ever.

There has been a slight delay in the production of the next batch of Z-Rigs. We hope to have them shipping by February 21st, with a PRE-ORDER available in the Web Store by February 7th.
We have had some questions regarding the use of the Z-Rig and a 60d, because of the flip out screen. After finally getting our hands on a 60D today it is clear that the flip out screen can still be used with the zrig.
While the rigs frame doesn’t allow full articulation of the screen, using it for the filming of low angle shots, for instance with a fisheye, works great!
